Otoshi Shrine

The shrine is the guardian deity of the six villages of the Kishi-so. It had been called the “Inui-no-miya” in the Edo period because it was in the northwest direction from the Wakayama castle. The large stone in the precincts is called “Iwagami-san” and it is thought hold powers to heal any eye trouble.
