Seiten-gu (Fumori-jinja)

The Seiten-gu was said to be the guardian god of the provincial capital and is also called the Fumori-jinja. The main building of this shrine which has another name “Yawata-Jinja” is very beautiful. It is considered that the government office of Kinokuni used to surround this area.
