Onoyama toge

This is the mountain pass from Yuyadani (Wakayama City) to Takihata. The altitude is 181m. The ridge has been a very important transportation route between Osaka area and Wakayama area since the ancient times. This was a national road during the Meiji and Taisho period but after the Kyoushi-toge was designated as one, this road became a regional road.
