The site of the tower of Konono-ji abandoned temple

Just south of the Konono-nishi crossroad (traffic lights), there is a Prefectural Designated Site of a tower that had a pillar with a huge crystalline schist. The stacked-tile podium is an uneven-rocks-stacked style of 13 square meters made of river rocks. The Buddha in relief forms and roof tiles called Kawara-dera and Motoyakushi-ji styled Nokimaru-gawara have been discovered among this area.
