Wasa Oji ruins

The ruins of an Oji (a small shrine) in the north of Yata mountain pass. In the “Kiizokufudoki (a topography)” it says, “This Oji is named Sakamoto Oji for it is located in a place called Sakamoto on the Oguri-kaido road (Kumano Kodo), but there are no shrines, so they put up a monument and engraved it with the four kanji characters; .”
